You already receive every circular. The problem is what happens next.

Bangladesh Bank sends circulars to regulated institutions directly. The difficulty is organising them across departments, knowing which earlier circular each one amends, and proving to an inspector who read what and when. Branch staff too often work from a stale version.

Where it hurts

  • Bangladesh Bank published 32 circulars in the 30 days before 12 October 2026, counted from the official index; circulars routinely amend or supersede earlier ones.
  • BRPD, DOS, FEPD, PSD, DFIM and BFIU obligations cut across divisions; one register rarely holds them all.
  • Audit and inspection evidence: who acknowledged a circular, when, and what was done.
  • Vendor due diligence and infosec review make procurement slow; a pilot in one department is the realistic start.

A sample week

  1. Daily

New circulars appear with department, date and official PDF. The brief quotes operative sentences and flags whether an earlier circular is referenced.

  2. On receipt

Compliance assigns tasks per division with due dates; acknowledgement and evidence are recorded in the audit log.

  3. Weekly

A summary of open items by department goes to the compliance committee.

  4. Inspection

Export the register with timestamps, owners and closure for the period requested.

Honest limits

  • We never state that an institution is compliant. We organise documents and evidence.
  • Supersession links are rule-based and shown as such; your compliance team confirms them.
  • Banks are a phase-2 focus; some department-specific features will follow pilot feedback.
  • No on-premise deployment is offered today.
