How we keep it honest

  • Official sources only

Every item links to the regulator's own URL, with the fetch time and the document's SHA-256 recorded.

  • Citations, not opinions

Obligations and effective dates appear only with a quoted sentence from the document. Otherwise they are marked unknown.

  • Human review for uncertain items

Scanned Bangla PDFs and ambiguous status changes wait for a person, not a confident summary.

How it works

How it works

Four steps from an official page to a tracked action.

  1. 1. Monitor

We poll each registered official index page politely, one request per page with conditional fetches and backoff, and record every new or changed document with its source URL and hash.

  2. 2. Compare versions

When a document is reissued or amended, you see the previous and current text side by side with the changed passages highlighted.

  3. 3. Cited brief

A rules-based brief states what changed, who is affected, the obligations found in the text with the quoted sentence and anchor, and the effective date, or “not stated”.

  4. 4. Act

Assign an owner, set a due date, attach evidence and close the loop. Every step stays in an audit trail you can export.

FAQ

Common questions

The regulator's website is free. What am I paying for?

So is the Gazette. You pay for knowing within hours instead of days, the diff between versions, relevance to your own entity and an audit trail of who saw and did what. You are not paying for the PDF.

Which sources do you monitor?

Exactly the ones on the coverage page, with health and last-check times. The first live slice is NBR VAT, customs and income-tax SRO lists, Bangladesh Bank and BFIU circulars, and BSEC notifications. Everything else is marked planned or gap.

Is this real time?

No. Listing pages are polled on a schedule, typically hourly for busy sources during business hours. Publication itself is bursty, especially in budget week. We show the last successful check so you can judge freshness yourself.

Our advisor already sends alerts.

Keep them. Advisor alerts are periodic and generic; this is continuous and specific to your entity, and it cites the same official sources your advisor will check. Several teams also use it to brief their advisor faster.
