An auditable change log for the group

Head-office wants to know that Bangladesh tax codes in the ERP match the rule in force, that dividends and royalties follow the current FEPD circular, and that someone can show when each change was seen and actioned. Advisor alerts are periodic and generic.

Where it hurts

  • VAT, VDS and withholding changes require ERP tax-code updates on a deadline the SRO sets, sometimes immediately.
  • FEPD circulars govern dividends, royalties, foreign loans and import payments; missing one delays a remittance.
  • Group reporting asks for evidence: which version, seen when, actioned by whom.
  • Big-firm alert distribution for Bangladesh is thinning; KPMG's member firm left the network on 30 September 2026.

A sample week

  1. Daily

In-app alerts for documents matching the entity profile: VAT-registered, importer, foreign-funded. Each shows the rules that matched.

  2. On change

The version diff shows exactly which schedule rows or paragraphs changed. Finance opens a task for the ERP update with the SRO as evidence.

  3. Weekly

The weekly summary goes to the regional tax lead in English. Documents stay in their original language with the official link.

  4. Month end

CSV export of changes, tasks and closure dates supports the controls file.

Honest limits

  • No API or SSO today; both are on the roadmap for Enterprise.
  • Effective dates are shown only when stated in the document; otherwise unknown, which your advisor must resolve.
  • Polling cadence is hourly at best; it is not a real-time feed.
  • Data is held on a managed Postgres service outside Bangladesh; see the security page before procurement review.
